This is the second time she did this!! My grandmother coughed without covering her mouth. Whenever I come to her house I say wear a mask when others are in your house even if it's family. You never know when you might cough or sneeze. I keep my mask on at her house. Next time if she doesn't where a mask while I'm there, I will simply have to leave! She says she's not going to where a mask when she's at home. But it's the best thing is to pay attention and cover your mouth!

It's so difficult to deal with old people specially because they are set in their ways. It's their way or the freeway. I may have to agree with you that when she coughs once again, leaving hopefully sends her the clear message that you're serious when it comes to being responsible for oneself and others, family, friends and neighbors as well. I hope though that you can still convince her to wear mask by mentioning the grandchildren who may not be able to visit because she's not wearing a mask. I do hope that your grandmother will compromise. I hope too that she will be feeling much better that will make her not cough anymore.

You are right. They are set in their ways. I'll try a friendly reminder, other wise I have to politely leave. She gets visitors and sometimes they will not have on a mask. I hope they will all be safe
