Finally got my mojo working. Plus an update on Horse Jr.'s Journey

I had one of those days where I just couldn't get my mojo working. I bought some beer and smokes, visited MyLot, and stared at my guitar cases. But I was basically in laziness mode.
Happily, I did hear from Horse Jr. several times today. They made it through a thunder storm in Tennessee (I went to a weather site to make sure there were no tornadoes there), and should make their destination by 2 AM, East Coast time.
I also spent some quality time with Kitty, who has been confused by their departure. I got my first ever purr out of Kitty today as I was rubbing her back and tummy. She is now guarding my steps.
And I FINALLY did some work on my book after my seventh beer and cigarette. But I still have not touched my guitar.
I may treat myself to Sushi this evening and just pass out when it (passing out, that is) happens. Hopefully I will take my Martin guitar out and practice a bit.
How has your day been?

Did they left a kitty back? I hope you can take care of kitty. Also my neighbor left a kitty back, now he is my kitty. He does not like to stay inside, but I brush him, feed him, and prepared a repaired place where to sleep under our porch.

@TheHorse Cats are sensible animals and they do not like "surprises and changes". The cat of my neighbor seems happy now. I brush him every day and I spend some time petting and playing. He is surely happier here, he is free, he has food, he can count on me for food.

Yep, we have an "apartment complex" kitty that Horse Jr.'s mom "adopted." They left her her under my care. She inspected my house again yesterday, and enjoyed some dinner with me. Yesterday was the first time she purred when I petted her.

I know this one because hates the Lakers and no northern Cali teams in it. Plus, with that boycott no one even knows when they are playing. I missed the last Laker game because had no clue what day they decided to play on.

I know you miss that boy, but hopefully they'll move back before long. Glad you have Kitty to take care of. We met a family who have a Yorkiepoo, a cross between a Yorkshire Terrier and a poodle. He was the most adorable puppy I've ever seen! But that breed is a loud barker so that's not for us.

They did make it safely. We even had an "issue" last night. Horse Jr. was talking to one of his young friends on the internet and would not do his homework. I demanded to talk to him and gave him a couple of hints about how to get started. His mom wrote me (after I was asleep) and told me that he got "some" of his homework done.

Is that the Horse Jr.'s Kitty? I'm glad they will reach their destination by the time you read this. My day has been the usual boring day. Have a great Tuesday.

@LindaOHio Me too. But I'd rather have an interesting life than a boring one.

Same here. My days pretty much always the same boring days. Sometimes less boring, sometimes more boring, and sometimes a little upbeat.

I'm glad Horse Jr. is letting you know how their trip is going, pony. I hope they don't have any trouble along the way.

@lovebuglena She's my buddy. But I may move in a few months, so I'm telling her story to my neighbors.

Sounds like you were concerned about Horse Jr. I am glad they made it through the storm. Please keep us posted as to how they are doing. Is Kitty their cat? My day has been ok. Now, I am inside and do not have to go out for a while I hope.

My days pile up with being busy but not really knowing what I am doing. I thought perhaps you would give Kitty some sushi.

Mr. Horse I hope you enjoyed your meal. Sounds like you have had a good day! I also hope that soon you post some of your music on here so we can all listen to it. My day was interesting, I tried cooking something different that really paid off, watched a movie, "Hocus Pocus" I never saw it, until now. Yeah I know how could i not see this movie yet? Haha

I have not seen that movie. My dinner was yummy. I will link you to another song--this one an original. The moth moving toward the light is a metaphor for people moving toward where there's "power." It's actually about a friend who "used" me when she could "get stuff" from me, but then dumped me (it was not a "romantic" relationship) when someone else held more power that was relevant to her at the time. The funny thing--she's heard the song but does not realize it's about her!
