Health Journey 2020 Reboot - Day 1 | August 31st

So, how did I do on my first day back on plan? I ate low carb all day, and got a little exercise in with walking to pick up my son (37 minutes). So what did I eat? Fasting blood sugar - 175 Meal 1 ~ Low carb breakfast taco (low carb tortilla, 2 eggs, mozzarella cheese, sausage, sugar free ketchup) I also drank an iced coffee with this meal; included heavy cream and sugar free sweetener Blood sugar after - 165 Meal 2 ~ Can of tuna with cheddar cheese, mayo, and sugar free BBQ sauce (wanted to give it a try, was pretty good) Followed this with 2 pieces of my sugar free tiger fudge candy Blood sugar after this meal - 150 Snack - sugar free chocolate pudding (4-ish net carbs) Blood sugar after - 143 My blood sugars didn't drop as I had hoped...usually they will drop pretty quick. Maybe tomorrow will improve though. Macros for the day? Calories - 1,270 Protein - 70 Fat - 96 Net carbs - 21 Sugars - 7 My macros were pretty good, I think. Not sure if that will equal losing any water weight tomorrow but we will see. We ordered some more Keto chow (vanilla and strawberry) so will have some new options for shakes. Also brought some protein puffs (kind of like rice puffs/rice krispies) so plan to make some low carb chocolate bars with those. Maybe even some low carb "rice" krispies when I can get some (or make) some sugar free marshmallows. Those sound exciting....what do you think? Photo via Pixabay

That's good to hear....I have enjoyed it so far though I don't have it regularly. I'll have 4 total flavors now though.

Doesn't sound possible, I know. But there are sugar free marshmallows, an alternative to the "krispies" part lol and sugar free chocolate.
