Pets as Companions

During all of the COVID shenanigans, most have found these times stressful. Whether you were laid off, forced to furlough, your kids are now home full-time, etc... This is seriously tough. It is because of these times that it is so important to embellish yourself in something you really enjoy or do activities that make you happy! For me, I have my cat! For those who aren't cat-lovers, I'm sure you have a dog, bird, lizard, or some other creature who brings you joy. Scientists have even proven that your brain releases serotonin and dopamine when you pet an animal! Even more of a reason why you should give your little companion some extra love today.
So, what kinds of pets do you all have? And what is your favorite thing to do with them?

When growing, dogs, cats and my mom's canary. Now living in no pets apt. I got wild little lizards always coming underfoot when I'm giving recycled water in my small yard.

I think so too. They come into my home and I see them exploring. They like my little plants mostly aloe I've at my tiny backyard.
