Babysitting Today

My son called me a couple of hours ago and asked if I could babysit. I told him yes. I'm waiting to find out when he'll be here or if he changed his mind. I found a couple of things to use to tie some doors I don't want her to open, so that's taken care of. I never know when she's going to climb out of her playpen, or if my son will forget to bring it and I'll be chasing her all over the house again like the first time. In any case, I'm ready for whatever comes my way. I hope he remembers my tree this time.
In any case, I'll be here until he gets here and try to catch up with the notifications that are over 200. I thought I'd give you a heads up if you notice I haven't been here for a while.

She's a cute kid. Reading your post, made me think about the Little Rascals, when Spanky kept the kids. Lol. Funny it made me think of that.

I have doors tied shut because of cats

@just4him I just use yarn looped around the handles. Seems to work well.

@wolfgirl569 I don't have yarn. I'm going shopping this morning after the pool and will look for something that will work better. I'm using a cloth belt and a plastic bag right now.

I hope she showed up and you had a great time with her, I rested all day and caught up a bit on here off and on for a few hours for the first time in like a month,

Yes, she showed up and it was a good day. She was in the playpen. I'm too old (I don't like to admit that) to chase after an almost-two-year-old. It was good to have her contained. Still, she kept me hopping, even with her in the playpen.
I'm glad you rested and got caught up a bit on here.

Hope the babysitting goes well if he does bring her. I had a busy day already....went grocery shopping and got the rent taken care of.

Aw your niece is al cute! I don't have any plans for today Valerie, but I am so glad that my neighborhood will be put of confiment next week, which means I will be able to walk outside!

I love to look after little children but soon it becomes quite tiring!
However, with grandchildren, we forget the pains and the time spent with them.
Hope you had a great time with her.

My plans were changed as it rained all night long, I was going to mow and clean the church. Now that will be Friday. So Mike and I are enjoying the US Open for the afternoon.
Hope you have a fun time with your grand daughter. Hope your son remembers the tree for you.

Adorable baby!
Lockdown second time around has not allowed us, Down Under, visiting with each other. It's good you are able to. I miss my five grandkids' chubby cheeks, baby talk and sweet smell.
How did it go today with the baby sitting?
