They might have told you that not all things that can be seen in the internet is real like photos of objects, colors etc. Yes it's somehow true. Even for real, there is what we can say "expectation versus reality", right?. But hey guys, this cactus is real. When i was still in college especially when i do my outputs in paper, i used to download various designs to make my project more appealing. One time, i was truly got fascinated by the flowers of this wonderful cactus so i downloaded it. I have never expected that its real, all I thought was just a design artistically created in adobe photoshop but IT IS REAL and it is in our garden! Just dont know the real name

It's actually a succulent rather than a cactus. Cacti are also succulents but usually have spines and rarely any leaves. Both are normally desert plants and store water in their stems or leaves. They generally flower for a very short time after it has rained and can completely transform a desert landscape overnight. Yours is an Echeveria (as JJ has said) and is a native of Mexico. We have very similar plants in England which are called 'House Leeks' because they often grow on the tiled roofs of old buildings, where nothing much else would grow. It is supposed to be lucky if your house has houseleeks on the roof!
