Sleeping Late

It is a few minutes past 1am in my part of the world and I can't seem to fall asleep no matter how hard I try.
Sleeping late has become a part of me since the pandemic broke out. I get so tired some days but still stay awake till so late. I have 5 & 7 year old boys who wouldn't even let me sleep in as the day breaks. I love them to the moon and back but sometimes, I just want to hide for just a few minutes more of sleep in the mornings.

You should to be sleeping well for it's pandemic era. You simply stay home. What's bothering you?

You are right about that but I have nothing in particular bothering me. Sleep just doesn't come early

Try to get some 8 hours night sleep as soon as your precious boys get to bed. And then, by morning, you'll be surprised to wake up refreshed earlier or before they do.

You should look up ways on how to fall asleep. That will definitely help you.

The kids are grown up now. So why can't you take rest in between the day

I totally understand you. I have new puppies as my fur baby gave birth last June. It’s like having a newborn baby in the house. They’re turning 10 weeks tomorrow and i could sleep early these days but i still have to wake up really early in the morning to feed them. Their mother sleeps with us in the room.

It's hard to break those sleeping patterns. Just hang in there and try something that might distract you from keeping up late.
