Yes, every spring/summer I see a few around my house. I have a few feeders for them. I love watching hummingbirds. My husband and I have even found hummingbird nests with eggs in them. Of course, we left the eggs alone and watched mama bird from afar. The eggs eventually hatched and then we got to see the baby hummers from far off. It was awesome to get to experience baby hummingbirds! Hopefully I'll be able to experience it again this year!

Yes, we have them every year. We put out the feeders with sugar water. I was told not to use the red kind because it crystalizes in their bellies and kills them. So I use 1 part sugar to 4 parts water. I have a chair close to where they feed. Sometimes I can almost touch them. They are use to me being there in the evenings. Such a pretty, tiny creature.

every year we set out hummingbird feeders and get plants that they love so we can see them around. They are so pretty.

I have hummingbirds that feed on the flowers in front of my house all summer long and I just love them.

From March 15 to about September 3, I had hummingbirds constantly. The peak of the season -first week of June to the last week of August- at any given time, there are always between 8 to 20 or more. I have two feeders with 6 spots each and they are just about always filled, with more flying around trying to get a spot. I change the water daily, do not add food coloring, and the one major thing I learned this past season is that hummingbirds l-o-v-e hot water. I sit on my front porch and have had them actually fly within two inches of my face and hover there for a few seconds. In my area, I am known as "the hummingbird lady!"
