Multitasking at present......

Well, I can't do multiple things at a time but definitely I am capable of switching swiftly between tasks. So I can proudly say that I am multitasking at present. . I am sitting with my laptop and TV is on with some news channel. Actually I am making my lesson plan for coming week and mylot is open in one window. I am switching between two windows. I don't need to pay attention to news running... They keep playing the same thing multiple times and as such no positive news from any corner It's past 11 PM and I am still fresh. I had a two hours long afternoon nap. That made me feel better but no way I am going to be sleepy fofor at least next hour or more. So I will finish typing my lesson plan and mylotting It was a well planned lazy day and I was literally a couch potato the whole day. Today we celebrated Teachers day in our country. So was flooded with lovely messages from my students... Some current and some old ones. Even got them from my students who have moved out of country. All were lovely messages and touched my heart. It made by day. Sharing this card that one of my autistic student has made for me. He has limited speech( need based communication) and struggles with motor coordination. I have been working with him since last 18 months. Other than his academic and communication skills, I use art as a therapy for him. I was glad to see him using his art skills to make this card for me. This was impressive and made my day. He is around 10 years and some might find it just okay okay work for such age. But seeing his challenges, I feel he has come a long way. I was overwhelmed. I sent a video to him thanking him and did give him hugs and kisses. Now I move on to my lesson plan and reading your new posts here.

Yes. It is. Autistic children are not expressive about their feeling. So I am really touched that he chose to do that for me. Feels special to be accepted in his inner circle.

Teacher's whiskey
That is a beautiful card, and with great feelings. At times, we can be inspired by someone who has faced many more challenges than us in life and progressed so much. Here too I see many people and students sending Teacher's Day cards on WhatsApp groups. And by the way, on some of my groups, I also see messages of "Happy Teacher's Day" which refer to the whiskey brand "Teacher's" !! I too have received this whiskey image from colleagues. Once drunk you reach the epitome of self realization... Sort of nirvana. And only a real teacher can help you reach nirvana stage. So may be this brand used that logic

I am not good with it. I can only switch between two jobs but I can only do one at a time.

I hate that. I finish one at a time else I am too overwhelmed and nothing goes well.
