I have looked for new movies at Netflix but finally the old movies are better.
Al Pacino is perfect in every movie he plays. It seems that there´s a movie in which he is starring at Netflix. But that one, also, is am old movie.
I am a special fan of some actors. Jack Nicholson and Clin Eastwood are two of mine. With are yours? Can you name a couple?

Charlton Heston was my all-time favorite growing up. Yul Bryner was another. I loved him in King and I. They played together in The Ten Commandments, great performance by both. They also played together in The Buccaneer. Another good historical drama.

@just4him They don´t come that good now. Maybe it is because so many movies are only special effects and they don´t really have a plot.

The Godfather is every man's favorite when it started to premiere. At least for most men because of how beautifully crafted the movie is, the manly quotes that we can incorporate in our daily lives. Being born in the '90s, I didn't get to watch it when I was young. But when I watched it back in college, it instantly became one of my favorites, and every December, I watch the trilogy. I didn't like the ending of the 3rd one, but I heard they are going to release an alternate ending on Netflix so I am a bit excited about it. Have you heard about it?
Anyway, I haven't watched a lot of old movies but I like Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Meg Ryan, to name a few at the top of my mind right now.

I hope Netflix does not meddle with old films although sometimes we would have wanted a different end. I read Mario Puzo´s book before watching the movies and the book is very good and the movies do it honor.

@marguicha Reboots of old films into new ones are becoming the trend in the film industry today but I agree with you that they should not meddle with the good films of old. For the Godfather, I think there was another ending before but it is now that they are going to show it as a full movie with the alternate ending so I am curious how that pans out. I have not read the books, but I heard also the movies did it justice.

I saw a couple of the Godfather movies early this summer. I remember reading that book when I was in middle school. It was not a kids book, but I found it somewhere and took it home and read it.
