Good to buy vegetables through online

Hi friends,
Due to the virus lot of shopping go through online now, coming to groceries it also increases compared to previous.
Those are on seeing images we can buy but coming vegetables on the image it shows fresh but after they arrive we see a lot of damages there.
In my opinion, buying vegetables and fruits online is not a good choice, because there us a chance to get a lot of damages after arriving.
So going market and buying those is a smart choice.
Can I know what's your opinion about it.

I only get my grocery shopping through their website and get it delivered to my place. I am not risking myself to go out in crowded places yet.

@Lavanya15 yes I am. Fortunately we have out vegetable and veggie guy. He owns a stand in the open market so he sends us a sheet where we have to fill in the blanks the items we need to get delivered and once we send him our order in the following days he ships the fruits and veggies to our home!

We dont buy online with our vegetables ma friend,there are some tricycle here roaming around to sell vegetables and fruits so no Hussle to us

Haven't tried it and no plans of purchasing them online. I want to check the veggies myself so I can see if they are good ones. Can't rely on the photos uploaded online by sites.

I have been buying groceries online since last four to five years but for veggies and fruits it is a strict no. We grown some and we get it straight from organic farm in nearby neighbor. We go there every weekend. Not bought much of veggies from stores or markets in last few years from the time we came to know of this farm.

@Lavanya15 Yes twice week. We can even visit the farm and pluck our own veggies, get it weighed and pay. Before corona crisis, we used to do every week. My daughters enjoyed picking veggies and fruits. It was like a weekend picnic.
