It is a hectic past week

It had been confirmed on last Friday that my dad has a stage 3 prostrate cancer. Given his age, an operation is not feasible as any wrong move, it will spread to his intestine. The specialist had recommended for hormone therapy which consist of injection once every 3 month with consistent monitoring. He had went for the bone scan to see if the cancer cells had spread. We will know the result by this afternoon. From what I see, it does not seems to be likely.
I had sent an amount of $15,000 to do a partial repayment to my housing reducing my interest servicing to the loan as well as bringing down my loan servicing period. My wife had not express any interest in reducing the housing loan further. Oh well, it is her money. I am not going to whine to her.
I had also consolidate all my funds. Instead of outsourcing to others to speculate forex on my behalf, I will be sending all the funds into Robo advisory such as Stashaway and SYFE. I am going to send money in bit by bit instead of all at one shot to do dollar course averaging.
Will update more later

I wish I understood more about forex. Good for you to reduce your debt. My husband had prostate cancer and had two of those hormone injections, then radiation. I wish him well. I will pray for him right now.
