Some updates on my dad....

Hello everyone! I hope you're all doing well. I have been on here and there but not as much as I would like due to being busy and tired. My dad is doing good and getting a lot of positive feedback regarding the healing of his foot, leg and his blood test results. I haven't seen his foot yet and I know it will take me a very long time again to even glance at it like I did the very first time he had a toe amputated. It's not that I find it sickly or weird or anything like that. I struggle to look when it's not bandaged because it only makes me think of all the horror he has been through and how it all could have been avoided. So will take some time. His leg is still a bit painful but nothing compared to a week or so ago. (painful due to the operation he had which were very deep cuts). He is finding it more easier to sit and get off his bed or chairs. But the rules are still the same. He cannot move around too much or stand in one spot for too long. His blood test results have been good. Meaning no infection has been showing. This is all pretty much the same story as the other times but *fingers crossed* (yet again) that this is the very last time!!!! I have been doing whatever I can to take care of my dad. I wake up early to prepare my dad's breakfast, make lunches and dinner. Get him everything he needs like tablets, needles and insulin pen/s. Been doing 99% of the house chores and my brother does the rest so he has been a "great help" to me. (sarcasm). I will be on for a bit longer tonight. I have missed MyLot very much. I have some more Discussions to post so sorry, I'm not trying to bombard you all, I just haven't had the chance to be on here lately. Wishing you all to be well and happy.
