I find that lots of people remember that I have a cat when talking to me

I will explain this better. When I talked to the guy today he remembered something about cats and I told him I have one cat. Most people remember my animals when they talk to me, but, not always me. Have any of you found that people remember your pets that you told them about, but, not much about you?

Some people are known more by their pets. We have an elderly lady in our society whom other people and especially kids know more through her pet dog, who is also of an old age. Plus we watch a YouTuber regularly who has 3 dogs as her pets. Her pets in fact enabled her to reach more than 1 Million subscribers.
