Low Carb/Keto Journey - Day 3 | September 9th

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? I am back to share how I did on day three of my restart of my health journey. Weigh in? Yesterday - 182.6 Today - 179.6 Down three more pounds of water weight! 7 pounds I think till I get to my lowest weight. Blood sugars? Fasting - 86 Meal 1 - 86 Meal 2 - 69 Meal 3 - 73 These were great numbers! Surprised the 2nd meal number was so low because that was a few hours after working out. Now, for food and exercise. Meal 1 - we went out and picked up food from Carl's Jr. I had 2 quarter pound patties (so 1/2 a pound of beef), two slices of cheese (or so). I added some sugar free barbecue sauce (it's delicious on burgers). Meal 2 - Can of tuna with mayo, sugar free ketchup and some sugar free BBQ sauce Added some shredded cheddar cheese too. Meal 3 - Vanilla keto chow shake ~ Added heavy cream and some cake batter extract. The shake was okay, but not my favorite. Might try to use the vanilla flavor in some recipes. I worked out a couple hours after my first meal. I did almost an hour of Tae-Bo and then the rest was dancing. I burned 898 calories. My steps for the day were a little over 13,000! Now, for macros- Calories - 1,324 Protein -100 Fat -91 Net Carbs - 11 Sugars- 6 Potassium- 2,530 So, I think this day was pretty successful. What do you think? I think you did well. Congrats on losing the water weight. I'm doing okay. The water weight doesn't want to budge.

@just4him Yes, another 3.4 drop over night. Down 10.2 since I started again on Monday.

Thank you, and I saw another big drop overnight! However my blood sugar was too low. Glad you are doing okay....sorry about the water weight not wanting to move. Sometimes that can happen

@MommyOfEli2013 yeah i never understood water weight and always thought i was gaining from eating until the last two weeks when i was going through my medical issue and weighed twice in the morning, once after getting up and peeing, then went back to bed without anythjng to eat or drink for another few hours and did it again and it would go down 3 pounds ish each time. I was like woooah.

@Courtlynn Water weight can be very confusing....but that loss would be nice to see! and whether it is water weight or other weight it is always more fun to see the scale go down!

I wasn't surprised that the scale dropped since it is just water weight....I know it will slow down once I get rid of that. But thank you!

Thank you, and yes can eat a meal out for very low carbs....the meal was only like 2 carbs.

That day was, but sadly I have had 2 carb days now :/ I think tomorrow I will get back on track for the most part (there is one candy I want to try but that will be my only carbs - I hope). And that is okay...just hope you enjoyed!

I woke up with a super low blood sugar, and it dropped more after my breakfast.
