Who here likes and eats kimchi? This fermented vegetable side dish that's popular in Korea seems to be a favorite of mine now. I always combine it with hot rice -- kimchi rice in an instant! It's also great with fried chicken.
I don't know why I like it. Maybe because it's spicy? Coz I like spicy food.
How about you? Have you tried kimchi and how do you find it?

Oh yeah! I like tteokbokki, too. It's great for snacks. Well, sometimes I eat it for lunch, too.

I respect your preference. But you like Korean food, too? Or other cuisine tastes better for you?

Ah yeah, back then, there were only a few restaurants serving Korean food and samgyupsal. They've sprouted like mushrooms a few years back.

It's a Korean side dish made of fermented vegetables like cabbage, with different spices and seasonings. It's like their traditional pickles, I guess.

It's a traditional Korean side dish, kinda like their version of pickled vegetables. If you like spicy dishes, you may want to try it.
