Poetry: Giving birth to death

A mother gives birth to life,
but we all give birth to death.
Life and death are both births,
taking us to a new place in it all.
To die laughing is to die to death.
To die crying is to live to not die.
Thinking about death brings it on.
Letting death be death allows life.
Let death surprise you with itself.
Try not to guess its secrets before time.
Calmness of mind has nothing to do with death.
Death is greater than any mind, minding.
We meet up with death when life is ended,
but life ending is not ended until death arrives.
Therefore do not count the days of your life,
but allow death to count them for you instead.

"And I will show that nothing can happen more beautiful than death."
Walt Whitman, (1819 to 1892) the great American poet said this.
Life lives on death, as much as death preys on life.

An awesome and inspirational write. Due to my faith and knowledge of the world beyond, I know there is nothing to fear just the joy of being reunited with the ones I love

@innertalks right after my husband passed on I was transported to his side. I saw everything I could see and he was so glad to see me. We were willing to stay together and I remember having thoughts that my stepdaughter would freak finding out I also passed away right after her dad. I was ready to be with him and no feat. Suddenly I was pulled back. What I learned was that I could not do this because it was not my time and I had to go on living. I did manage to go back one more time just for another look and learned some interesting facts like what I was seeing was different from what they were seeing up there but basically that was life up there. I saw my husband from a distance he was standing at the end of a pier looking out at a lovely lake. I was going to call to him but then remeenberd with our love we might get into trouble again about saying goodbye so I went back where I had to still be now. It was so awesome it made me cry and I have had the pleasure of one night of dancing with my love all night up above and I can tell you after not dancing for some time in the morning I was so very stiff but I hope he will take me dancing again at some other time
