Cheating on somebody you love

United States

I know you've once seen your friend, your brother or sister crying their eyes out because of heart breaks and told you their partner cheated on them. Why do we cheat on people we say we love, respect and willing to be together for as long as we live? What is it that someone looks for when they go out and decide to cheat? Have you ever cheated on someone? Has someone ever cheated on you? How did you handle the situation?

My fiance cheated on me that was 5 years ago with my closest girlfriend, since then I lost faith in love and relationships. I tried it for last year to give myself a chance and ended up cheated again, but this time I saw just messages on his phone.

It is even more painful when it is with someone close and trusted. Good luck and love will find you soonest.

To me, just me, my point of view and my values: Adultery is wrong. I detest it. So, I will not commit adultery.

I've never cheated on someone. Yes, someone cheated on me in the past. I broke up with him the moment I knew that he was cheating.

It's a possibility because every person is not the same and many look at money aspect more than love

You saying others cheat because of money? Why then don't they leave their partners before cheating?

Often happens that we are cheated by someone who is close to us. Someone who actually should care about our feeling.

@GeniusSoul My brother cheated on his wife and he has no heart. He is a very cold person. My sister also has no heart. I have no idea why people cheat.

You can't just say why they have cheated for there are reasons to that. It's either of the two are infidel or due to circumstances.

Apparently my first bf cheated on me with a large number of girls cause I wouldn't put out... The entire school was laughing at me behind my back... He dumped me then assaulted me in later years. He tried getting with me at one stage and I told him I was so far done with his f*ck boy sh*t if he contacted me again I would tell the police. I wouldn't cheat on my partner. Though, I was accused of it regularly because I have close male friends. It is awful to be accused of it when you are totally innocent

@GeniusSoul Yeup very much so. The guy that accused me of cheating had been accused of it himself by a former partner so he should have known how much it hurts

I'm sorry about your incident. Being accused falsely hurts
