It's really funny.my mil ordered this i.d card like product that has been said 80% to protect from virus. My husband don't believe such and he doesn't want to wear. He find the reviews online and it said that this product is ban to many countries.and it's fake. Have you tried to used this?

As you can read here, the Virus Shut Out is a big scam and a complete fake. I am sorry that your mother-in-law paid out money for such a dreadful scam!

@TheHorse Nor I. myLot is very much against any such scams and false information but, of course, they must be discussed so that others are aware of them.

@GoAskAlice Yep. I actually had not heard of this "product." It looks like they're marketing it largely in Asia.

I have never heard of this product. What are you supposed to do with it?

You're supposed to wear it round your neck like an ID tag. Its 'mysterious influence' (due to the fact that it's been dipped in chlorine dioxide or something) is said to repel 99% of airborne germs and viruses for 6 metres around you. (I may not have all the details quite correct, but then they were utterly fake to begin with).

I saw this when my SIL sent me a photo. She said she will send some to my father. So it is fake?

No and I don't intend to buy one. I don't think there's enough scientific study to prove that such can protect the user from the virus.
