For the umpteenth time, the government of the capital city of Jakarta will immediately implement a lockdown to reduce the explosion of the growing number of Corona virus patients. The impact immediately resulted in a drop in stock prices on the JCI and it seemed that we had to prepare for a recession. Is there anything worse in other countries than this?

@Babale here the government can't choose between the economy and the virus

Well the Philippines is not even allowing nurses to leave the country now cause we are running short of healthcare workers whilst continuing to be on lockdown.
Here in the UK the numbers are starting to spike up again. It is really bad for everyone but most especially to developing countries who aren’t equipped for a pandemic.

It's frustrating but governments are taking drastic measures to guard against the virus causing more damage. My government is trying its best to avoid another lockdown to try to get the economy going. But if people don't cooperate and observe all the safety protocols, we'll have another one - and we've already had many.

In fact, this is also the fault of our government that is more concerned with economic factors than health, so that at the beginning of the corona pandemic they were reluctant to lockdown. Now that they are aware, it may be too late because it is having an impact on the economy too.

Employees of most private firms have lost their jobs as many companies are going bankrupt. Schools and colleges are closed. However, malls and shops are open. Crowds are less in shops henceforth they aren't making astronomical profit. So it's kind of partial lockdown.

I saw the news, that in California there was "firenado", where forest fires and tornadoes occurred together and it was scary.
although at this time I am so frustrated with the lockdown in Jakarta, because in a few weeks I am planning to hold my wedding party, but after seeing the news I seem to have a lot to be grateful for.
