Losing communication with friends

The pandemic has really changed how we deal with our lives. One thing I noticed is that I feel like I'm losing communication with people I consider friends. I'm not sure how they're feeling at present because of the quarantine and social distancing and all that, I'm too shy to ask. But I just noticed that even if I post online something that we used to bond over before, they're not replying anymore. I don't know if they're keeping distance in general or just busy, but somehow I feel sad that we don't have the same connection as before.
Nothing, just want to vent out my feelings.

It just makes me sad. Maybe they're going through something, too. I don't want to pry.

@Overflowing you're right, maybe I'm just thinking too much. I do have a tendency to do that. I'll just wait for them to reply whenever they feel like it. I hope they know I'm just here for them.

This pandemic changes a lot of things. Life becomes not normal but surely after this we can go back to our normal lives and hopefully the communication we have with our friend will return also...

You are right. The pandemic has changed many things including the lifestyles.
Don't agonize over losing your friends' likes. They are just learning how to cook their own food.

Yeah, maybe they are in their kitchens.
Thanks, this lightened the mood a bit.

@eileenleyva Yes, I diverted my attention these past few days to something. I'm blogging again while doing work. Maybe soon my friends and I can reconnect again.

@moonchild117 A time for every purpose under heaven. There was a time you all laughed and bonded in camaraderie. A time for some serious matter now that you've grown up a bit because of this pandemia. You can pan your attention on something worth doing, a personal project or a charity work, so when this pandemia is over, you can have something to share to your friends.

It's very depressing. Some people have withdrawn into themselves :(

Yes, that's true. I feel that because we're doing social distancing, the connection with each other is getting lost.

@Lushlala I'm shy to FaceTime them or do a video call, I don't like them to feel like I'm prying too much. Maybe I'll drop them a message sometime next week, just to let them know they can talk to me or anything.

I send messages but they don't respond. I even tag them on Facebook posts but no reactions from them. I hope they don't feel sad and I wish they know they can talk to me.

Yes, that's really sad as well. I know some friends who's lost friends or colleagues because of the virus.

@moonchild117 it's sad and scary to hear that knowing there's no vaccine yet.

Yes, I'll try to understand. Maybe they're just going through something, too. I'm too shy to ask, though.

I'm shy to FaceTime them, I only send a message just to know how they are or what they're up to.
