I have many old things at my place as I find difficult to part with them. In fact I get attached to them emotionally too! I have got a Sony Stereo Sound which I purchased in 1986. This is the same year when my son was born! The system is still working great and when I searched for this model of mine, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this model of mine is now a Vintage one! This is the picture of the Cassette Playing Deck I have which is still in wonderful condition! May I know what is the oldest gadget you have at your place which is in working condition?

@amitkokiladitya , The mechanics say that we should use the sets once in week or so , so that the PCB will not get damaged because of the humidity! I some times start the TV for a while and shut it off!

That’s awesome it still works. My oven is from the 40s. It still works but the cable broke so the door won’t stay up. I have a chair against it keeping it closed.

You are absolutely correct! The quality of the sound is very nice and can compete with products with any modern tecnology! (This set is a gold! In fact I recall spending some 21K Indian Rupees then for this set! With that amount I could get get about 50 gms then!)
