She liked my shoes, and I liked her outfit

So, today while I was out and about I saw a woman who had a really neat mask and outfit on. Her mask was unusual and had sequins on it, and it matched her outfit. I was thinking about saying something like I liked her outfit, when she said she liked my shoes. I was wearing my new pastel tye dyed sneakers. I said Thanks and made a comment about my sneakers, although I should have said, it's funny...I was just thinking I liked your outfit! Do you ever miss the chance to say something nice?

Yes, it happens that I miss the right moment. I feel so embarrassed when I receive compliments while I am outside.@snowy22315 (180768)

I would never be embarassed to receive a compliment! Nowadays with the masks, it seems people aren't talking as much to each other as they did.

@snowy22315 I am, I do not know what to say. Last months, with my husband, we were shopping at Ikea. One woman stops and says "may I sell something?".. well, yes of course... "you are both so beautiful!". I was speechless.

Sometimes I miss the chance because I assume the person knows... but it's always nice to hear it, isn't it? :-)

I remembered my first day at school as a teacher, there was a cute teacher who was wearing purple skirt and putting a purple eyeshadow I really liked it, though I was new there and still don't know each other well I made a comment on her looking since then we are friends
