My cat used to follow me around all over the place. We started going on walks or I'd take him to the park to play in the long grass. Also, when he had to stay at my b/f's temporarily, I'd show up and the cat would come over to me right away. My b/f's friends that were there would say, "I've been here for 2 hours and never saw that cat. You show up and he's right here!" My cat was very very loyal. Aloha!

Loyal in what way? Have you ever had a cat? I have had a few that were like dogs. Protective, smart and teachable, and very affectionate. They would cry if I was gone.

I think it depends on the cat? We have cats that are pretty loyal to us. They miss us when we're gone. I think cats just have a different way of showing it than dogs.
