Will Change My Rooster to Kabir Chicken

My niece agreed to have my rooster in exchange for two Kabir chicks. At least they are not as noisy as the rooster and I can watch them grow. I just love to have such pets, aside from a cat and a dog. They make my day!

It is so nice to have it as pet; it knows its owner; though I have to give it up because it is quite noisy.

@acelawrites We live in the countryside but this is not an area where animals like chickens, hens, sheep or goats are allowed, those animals smell bad.

i'm glad she's 'greed to such. i'd pet chickens when i'twas growin', they'd e'en ride horses with me. couldn't leave 'em 'hind, they'd run their lil legs off 'n a run/fly mode 'til they'd catch the horses tail. found 'twas futile 'n jest put'em 'n the saddle with me 'fore i left. some roosters're purty good 'watch dogs', 'lertin' ya if'n they feel there'd be danger. i'm sure such could be 'nnoyin' if one'd many neighbors. thankfully, 't the time, i'd none fer 3 miles :)

Yes, the rooster knew me; even feed on my hand, but we are close to a neighbor so we are afrsid they might be annoyed.

roosters will crow anytime they want which can be annoying, not just for you but also the neighbors

I cannot stand roosters because of sunrise crowing.
