Do you admit your own mistake?

I'm the type of person who has pride when I was young. Even though I know to myself that I made a mistake. I always insist that it wasn't a mistake and I'll not apologize for it. However, when the time passed by and I grew older. I discovered what the word sorry can change everything or to commit your mistake. I keep on using it especially if I made something wrong.

I always admit to mistakes and apologise if I was wrong. In the past I've had a few brushes with the lawand 99% of the time I had done what they said I did so I just admitted it and that went quite well for me really I remember I was in court once for kicking in a car...the magistrate asked if I was sorry for what I did and I said no I am not sorry but I am sorry I got caught...she said I respect your honesy we don't get much of that here and I just had to pay court costs no fine...the guy was an idiot and they saw I was provoked. Honesty is nearly always the best policy

I didn't exactly have pride when I was younger, I just didn't like being embarrassed of being wrong (my family is REALLY mean when someone is wrong and will pick on them for years and years afterwards) so I always tried to find a way to be right even if I knew I was wrong. Thankfully as I got older I can accept when I am wrong and grow from it.

Maybe that is also what I feel that is why I don't want to apologize and keep on proving that I'm right, and you're right. I just learned the use of apology when I got older too.
