Today must be Murphey's Law day. According to my paperwork, I needed to be at the COVID testing site at 8:20 this morning, followed by a treatment at the Orthopedic department an hour later. I got the test and went to get the treatment only to be stopped at the door because I got the COVID test. They called the department who told them to tell me to go home and they would call me.
Next on my agenda was getting my laundry done so we went to my son's and I got the laundry in the washer and the phone rang. Orthopedics wanted me back, sorry about the mix-up. This time I drove. I got there and after the apologies and reading the information over for the treatment, I refused. There's a 50/50 chance of it doing any good. It also involved needles in my knee. NOT HAPPENING! He understood and didn't push it on me.
He also said I need to do the COVID test over again because it would do no good. It needs to be done within 72 hours of my surgery and the time I did it was well outside that time. So, I'm going to post this and head back to the testing site and have my second COVID test today. Aren't I lucky?
In the meantime, I also talked to my sister. She called yesterday when I was out and about with the medical appointment yesterday. She will come and stay with me next week so I don't need the neighbor across the hall or worry about my son and his work schedule.
I'm also eating the worst sandwich I've ever made. The gluten-free bread is falling apart. I have one more loaf, I'm going to just throw it out. I'm not dealing with this again.
Okay, that's my morning so far. I need to leave. I'll be back later. How is your day going? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

That day sounds like the pits, and you didn't even get a good sandwich..

the testing isn't too bad, depending on the person doing it. Sorry you had to do it twice though.

What a crazy morning for you. I understand you not wanting the shots in the knees. Doesn't sound like fun. Glad your sister can stay with you after your surgery. Sorry about your bread being bad. I eat whole wheat or rye when I make a sandwich. Hope your afternoon is a bit calmer.
