So we have a small sari-sari store (for those who don’t know, it’s like a very very very very small version of a convenience store) and we sell these beverage drinks in the photo at 10 to 15 Philippines peso each. I notice that neighbors who work graveyard shift at the nearby coconut oil plant buy the yellow and green energy drink. And those who suffer from upset stomach from overeating or something drink the blue one. I don’t know why. Teens like to buy the orange and green-bottled drinks after playing basketball at the basketball court in front of us. The black one is for everyone. Me? I just like looking at the festive color. It’s very Christmassy to me but of course I need to find a red colored drink first to complete the list.

I feel like I know something new now :-) That's cool. I have never seen Gatorade in blue before. It's supposed to hydrate you. I like the look of the green drink.
Coconut oil plant? That must smell nice. I have just discovered coconut oil. It's amazing! Cooking, for hair, for skin... so many uses

i'm sure the smell 'f the plant 'tis not's pleasant's the oil 'tself, lol. oh, 'nother thingy fer coconut oil 'tis sunscreen. 'tis the 'nly thingy that doesn't break me out'n blisters. 'n oddly i'm rockin' a glorious tan. not certain that's a good thingy'r not? but, i don't burn (redhead + sun = sunburn, 20 minutes 'tis all't used to take, with spf 75 sunscreen...). if such's high'n mct's, easier to digest, too. found that out with the crohn's - a healthy fat my body don't jest spit out.
**warnin'! cats, pups, horses'n others like to lick such off yer skin**

@crazyhorseladycx ohh do you like coconut oil? I have a lot here. The plant gives away some of their products to the local people especially during special occasions like Christmas and New Year.

@ridingbet straws aren’t allowed in sarisari stores anymore. There’s a sanction for that

@sol_cee I actually prefer Coke and rootbeer but if both are not available, my next choice would be Sprite and Royal.

I try to avoid energy drinks. Most of them are nothing but caffine sugar food coloring or some other aditive for looks and flavor. Give me my coke (carbanatied drinks aren't always much better) or a decaf cup of coffee.

i reckon ya could add a cherry coke? 're those reddish'n color? search me, i've not been'n a store fer quiet some time - e'en prior to the pandemic.

It seems nice to have your own shop, in our area only traders with large capital control the market.
