Bread instead of cake!!!!!!:'(

So I tried baking a cake for the first time today! I put my batter in the oven expecting to see a cake when I opened it,but to my most funniest surprise it was so strong! I almost felt like I was eating wheat bread. How was your day first baking experience. Is it always like that. I'll surely try again and give an update on my progress^_^

I am not much into baking but when I do, they turn out well. My daughters are very much there and already a professional. You will get it with practice

That's Soo nice, you have really gifted hands then, because I followed all procedures and still made a hard cake .lol I'll practice more though

I know the feeling because when my girlfriend made a mistake in baking she felt very sad. I just told her that its delicious haha

I didn't even check that,I just made sure it was hot Maybe that's why Or I mixed the wrong batter

Frankly, I just love to eat, whatever my wife prepares, especially a new dish - i.e. her invention - I am her gunny-pig! And, even if it is YuK, I have to praise it!........ Just joking!!

My latest catastrophe was with a pan of biscuits... AND A NEW STOVE. I burnt the tops. Here's hoping that I learn how this one works for next time. I hate reading instructions!
