Funny but true

Most people use online dating to find love these days. It all starts with a friend request. When the relationship ends you get blocked. Funny part is nowadays you have to block them off of everything. Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Twitter, Snapchat and on your phone. That’s how break ups are these days. I have found myself in this situation since I had my ex on all of my social media pages. How many can say this is true? “From bae to blocked”?

I think very few people can say that they have had success finding love online.

@Luis11 even if there are real profiles on there I think it’s best not to recommend it to anyone.

Just another good reason I don't really use social media. Of course I have never used an online dating service. I know some who have and just their stories alone made me feel it was something I never wanted to try.

@Ladanger From what I hear is people are really good at talking themselves up and using the best picture they have and then they are nothing like what they say they are or nothing like the picture shows.

I can definitely say that online dating isn’t worth it. I used it before because I was too shy to meet someone.

Sorry to be so ignorant but what does bae stand for? All this social media stuff wasn't around when I was young.

@jaboUK it’s okay. That’s just what a lot of young people call their partners now. It’s supposed to be cute lol

Blocking works, but if someone else goes to look you up for them, they still see you. Sometimes, social media can be a pain, from keeping people off your pages.

That’s very true. They can still stalk you from other pages or make a false page.

@Ladanger you would be surprised how many fake fb requests i get in a day. I always think it is someone that I blocked, I never accept any of them, but still they can spy on you.

From bae to blocked lolll. And FB has this ‘’memories’ feature. I hope you didn’t post a lot of photos with your ex or you’d be reminded of ‘memories’ all the time.

I have been lucky that I have not been blocked, nor have I had to block, anyone from past relationships. For the most part, I have remained on friendly terms with everyone. How are you? I haven't talked to you in forever! I hope you are doing well.

And THIS is a prime example of why we don't need to many social media outlets.

I try not to stalk them because then you may see something that hurts on their page.

@Ladanger It's true, it's best to get as far away as you can and do your best to keep going.
