Good Music

I just turned on the radio and I was happy that they played like five good songs in a row that I really enjoyed. I know there are quite a few of you here that have what I consider good taste in music. I enjoy and really only listen to late 60’s and early 70’s rock music. Here are the five what do you think about this list of songs played in a row. Me and Bobby McGee House of the Rising Sun Happy Together California Dreamin’ Paint it Black I like all those songs but then they runed it by going to a commercial. I hate when they do that, I just want to hear more good songs. The Bonus track is they came back from the commercial right now and they start off with White Rabbit. I guess I will keep listening for a while.

@Bensen32 I stored all mine in two large boxes in the apartment of my mom. When we bought the house here I brought them here. I finally had a place where to store them.

@LadyDuck Yeah for a while I moved mine around and had not player to listen to them and finally I ended up selling a bunch of them that I just didn't want to store and move. Now I am kind of sad that I sold them.

@Bensen32 You were extremely lucky. There is a station here that plays the same kind of music I've never heard that many good songs in a row.

@Bensen32 I love House of the Rising Sun and Me and Bobby McGee and Happy Together and California Dareamin'. I am very familiar with those. I love the oldies but goodies.

They played quite a few in a row that I liked then it started to fall apart after a while LOL, then it got to news time and ruined the whole thing for me.

Yeah that is an awesome tune. I'm not sure which I would say, Paint it Black or House of the Rising Sun. hard for me to pick one over the other.

@Bensen32 Though kinda rare, I love when the radio will play one good song after the other. I get a bit irritated when music comes on I don't know / like or commercials just don't stop. And I swear, I seem to catch "news time" A LOT which means no music for awhile. Enjoy your music!

I agree, this station is pretty good at running short commercial breaks of course that just means they come a little more often than other stations.

right, been listening to that kind of music my whole life. I was born in the late 60's and had an older cousin that I looked up to and he introduced me to the music and I never looked back.
