So I mentioned last time that my mom was trying to ‘collect’ me to be a member of her plantdemic club. She is a hardcore orchid lover and now she’s into these leafy plants I can’t name. And she got a new recruit! My sister-in-law, like my mom, had turned their garden into a greenhouse of everything green. And since she was celebrating her birthday, my baker sis made her a plant-tita cake. Plant-tita (plant-auntie) is a term loosely coined for those women who are into plants during this plantdemic period. It was a delicious cake but we had a laugh at some of the leaves which looked like marijuana. Lolll

That's actually monstera delicious! That leaf on the cake!
I am a plantaholic myself even before the pandemic I like gardening as it takes away the stress of my daily life.
Every week I would go plant shopping. My son told me our house is now a jungle. But he's just exaggerating. I only have a few plants inside the house but more outside which I plan to bring in as soon as I purchase more pots to my liking. And I don't water them inside the house actually. I carry each and every single pot outside when it's raining. The good thing is that, I don't have to water them every single day.
I've been told it's a sign of old age. I don't care.

I do love orchids too and my husband do all the gardening even before pandemic,your cake is sweet message,hoping for more plants in your garden ma friend
