Taking Precautions

Part of my job involves me riding a special shuttle bus to a school in another town. There is always a lot for me to look out on the ride. One thing I have noticed, as we leave the school about 3:00 p. m. is band practice. Band practice takes place outside, on the lawn beside the school. Now, I was a member of a marching band. We practiced inside, and outside, but I believe this is intended to disperse the "viral load" to keep people healthier. One evening I also saw the vocal music group come out, with their chrome books, to practice outside as well. Many students are having their lunches outside at this time as well. These are just some of the precautions that are being taken.

I do not know about the other school with the music programs. Lunches will be back in the classroom when weather is bad at our school.

I hope everyone keeps their distance outdoors. The air still holds those virus droplets. I'm worried about seeing my granddaughter's skating video on Facebook. There were others on the ice at the same time.

It seems that the more we know, the less we actually are sure of.

It is difficult to keep the social distance when there are other people around.
