Hello friends. How are you today?
It's been a long time since I've wanted to be able to write a novel. Sometimes ideas jump in my head, but when I start writing, I always get stuck halfway through. Till this day, I have only been able to write a few short stories. Dear friends, maybe there are tricks or suggestions, I will be very grateful.

I think that all novelists begin with a 'framework' or what is called a plot. Just about every story there is deals with a problem that arises and consists of the way in which it is resolved but first of all you have to describe the situation. A short story is usually quite simple. You introduce one or more characters, set the scene, describe the problem which needs resolving and tell how it is resolved. A novel may be longer and more complicated and may involve more than one problem.
If you feel that you have a novel in you, start by writing a very rough outline of the story and a paragraph or so about the main characters. If you don't know your characters intimately - their good points and bad points and their likes and dislikes, you won't be able to write about them successfully.
It would be quite unusual for a writer to always begin at the beginning and write non-stop until they reach the end. Most find that their work is unsatisfactory at some point and have to rewrite whole sections of it. Quite a few get stuck half way, put the novel in a drawer and come back to it much later.
It's a good idea to ask yourself before you do anything else: "Why do I want to write a novel?" and to be brutally honest when it comes to the answers! Is is just because you feel that a novel is better than a short story or that you want to see your name on the jacket of a book in a bookshop?

@udinwardoyo maybe you can make novel outlines first, then write your idea according to it.
