Here is a funny story just for al of mylot by friends and fans. Adding this to the things my kids say!!! Last night we finished up dinner and my daughter is showing me a quarter and asking if the date on the quarter says 2003. I looked at it and told her yes. This is when my 8 year old speaks up and says this “momma you would know you here born in 2003!” I started laughing. “Um, no! But thank you for making me way younger.” My husband pipes up “yeah that would make her 17 year old. Could you at least say she was born in 2001 at least she would be over 18.” “Buddy that would mean I was around yours or your sisters age having kids. Mommy was born in the late 80’s just like daddy was.” My 8 year old eyes got really big as he recognizes that the 80’s was away but off from the 2000’s.

You must have had children very young if you were born in 2003 and have an 8 year old! I guess it must be even more strange for our children than it would have been for us to work out when people were born. I mean, at least our parents were born in the same century as us! I think it's sort of the opposite of how I feel when I see that someone is born after 2000 and realise that they are, in fact, an adult.

@ShyBear88 I'm guessing there's a typo here with the decade your parents were born as you'd said you were born in the 80s! We have a similar situation with me and my husband. He is 10 years older than me but our parents are similar ages (well, his parents and my dad were born mid-40s but my mum was mid-50s).

@pumpkinjam I was taking about my parents parents and my husbands mom’s parents they where in the 40’s. I know what years my parents where born in the 60’s. Me and my brother’s born in the 80’s. My husbands parents are only 18 years older then me and my husband. So they where born in the 70’s.
