A Leg Cramp

I woke up this morning with a leg cramp. It was painful but I didn’t let it ruin my day. I was thinking of exercising on the treadmill but instead I walked. Leg cramp is no fun but I managed to lessen the pain and the soreness. I actually massaged my leg and did some stretching.
There is a saying, “if the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never the goal.” My goal today was to exercise on the treadmill but I couldn’t so I did something different which was just walking I believe it is still exercise. I didn’t let the leg cramp affect me negatively I just do what I needed to do to get my exercise done.

There are many causes of nighttime leg cramps, like deficiency in liquid. Often, cramps may be related to foot positioning, the feet and toes extended in plantar flexion which causes cramps. When awakened by a cramp, stretch your legs right away, or if you can, stand up right away, feet flat on the floor, till the cramps are gone.
Walking is more beneficial to health than that treadmill.

That's admiring! I applaud you for still sticking to your plan on working out. It's been a while since I last had a leg cramp, I hope I don't have one in the near future. Ugh!

I also often had cramps in my legs when I woke up in the morning. I suspect that most cold weather causes me to cramp
