The problem with people these days...

I just saw a discussion saying there's no news about the vaccine about covid. He checked everywhere. I guess he didn't check everywhere. Why? Just this morning I was listening to the news over the radio about vaccines which will be tested in the Philippines. There were three types coming from three different pharmaceuticals and I just couldn't remember their names. In fact, people from my country were already gathered to be tested by these vaccines. Two of the vaccines have to be kept in -9C temperature and could last only 24hours. Which means they have to be transported quickly and administered immediately. The other one which I think came from Europe, if I was not mistaken, could last for a month. Which is good news! The problem with people these days is that they check the news only through social medias like Facebook. And unfortunately, not all news are being posted there. Do you rely much on social medias for what's happening in the world today?

No, I watch CNN and listen to the American scientists and doctors for my news. I also read our newspapers and listen to the radio and look up info online.

Yes, it happens nowadays, social-media becomes God of news, while I think not all the news on social media is true and credible

Do you rely much on social medias for what's happening in the world today? Not totally rely on social media sites but I do check these for updates. Twitter is pretty reliable in my book.

I don't watch the news much even though it's covid19 / pandemic related. To be honest it's depression watching it all the time.

Since I don't watch tv programs, I check mine in the newspapers and when I'm on the road, it's the radio news program especially early in the morning.

I rely on TV news. I never rely on things I read on Facebook.

Sadly, even with presented with reliable and backed facts, there will always be some people who will choose to believe otherwise because they already have their minds made up. While we respect their beliefs or stand, there are times that we have to save them from themselves for their own good and of those around them.

true. I only watch TV for news. That is a good news now that vaccine is getting close to reality.

I don't watch tv actually, I mean the local channel. I only use our tv for Netflix. Or watching HGTV. So I mostly get my news from the newspaper or the radio.
