Farmville is coming to an end

For 9 years I played this Facebook game. I put lots of work into it. It's been around 11 years. But on the last day of this year it will go away. Something about the company who supplies flash is ending their contract with Zynga.
This upsets me because I was hoping to be able to play it anytime in the future for the rest of my life. Whenever despite stopping at times.
My Mom is much more devastated than I am. She still plays to this day. She told me they are offering another game , but it won't be the same.

When I first started, I didn't think it would become so addicting, then it became very addicting. But I know people who became more obsessed than I did.

Yes. It is so disappointing , at the end of this year it ends.

I did read there is a remote possibly that they could try to offer the game with a different online format, maybe.

So sorry to hear your game will no longer exist. I used to play a game called Pet Society on Facebook and a few years ago got the chop too.

That's a real shame. I liked the game as well and have not played in years. I stopped because the further I got in the game, the more it lagged. So I stopped. All good things must come to an end.

@LeaPea2417 I agree. They could never fix that. The further in the game you were, and the more moving parts it had to load, also didn't help.

Yes, around two years ago, it moved slow and would freeze up a lot. That's why I stopped playing. It would also take too long to download.

I was once addicted to this and to Candy crush saga. Had to uninstall Candy crush from phone to control me.
It's sad to see such childhood memories coming to n end.

My daughters played farmville, too. A relaxing activity whenever they felt the stress.
I used to play bookworm and tetris, now it's wordscapes and candy crash. Sigh.
Hope your mother finds another interesting game to her liking.
