What a weekend~

Our 17 year old grandson Nathan is finishing his project to qualify as an Eagle Scout (in the Boy Scouts of America). It can't be anything too easy to make, so he decided to make three little library boxes for his community. You've probably seen them, they look kind of like bird boxes, but have books for people to borrow or donate to. My husband, our son (Nathan's dad) and Nathan worked part of Friday, all of Saturday and part of Sunday on them. They built them from scratch and two were from some Cyprus wood. Nathan and I sealed and stained them and they're really looking nice. Now they have to make the doors, attach them with hinges, attach the posts, and then cement them into a hole. It's been quite a big job, but this should be the last thing required to be an Eagle Scout, which around here is a really big deal. I'll post a photo when they're finished. Hope your weekend was more relaxing than ours!
