In my neck of the woods, it's the start on the Halloween season. :)
Are things going to be a little different this year? Yes. Are we going to let it spoil our season? Nope. There's more to the Halloween season for us then Trick-or-Treating. We watch horror movies (and family-friendly Halloween movies, like Hocus Pocus and Casper), we decorate, and there are still local places hosting events in a safe manner (masks, distancing, half capacity, etc.). Basically, we celebrate all month. :)
Right now, I'm watching the original Halloween (Michael Myers) from 1978. I'm also waiting for my coffee to cool a little, and I'm working on my Fiverr orders. I'm hoping to finish at a decent time so that I can look through Textbroker. I cannot cash out on TB until I hit $10 (and I can cash out whenever there's money in my account on Fiverr, but only once every 24 hours).
Later, my 19yr old niece and I are going to watch Scream. She asked me earlier if I wanted to watch it, and I agreed. We used to make a list of which movies we were going to watch, but we've stopped doing that because we never follow it lol. We'll just wing it haha.
Anywho, I still have work to do, so I'm going to wrap this up. Even if you don't celebrate Halloween, I hope October is a good month for everyone. Take care.

@Courtlynn I haven't watched it yet this season, but I think I may do it very soon. I love Casper, and FreeForm was playing it the other day so I finally got to watch it lol. I know the DVD is somewhere on our entertainment center, but I'm thinking it got pushed further to the back and I'm lazy, so lol.

@dodo19 I'll have to see if my nieces want to watch it soon! Right. I think my sister is making "Boo Baskets" for her kids, and then we're taking pictures in the park across the street (while in costume), plus my niece wants to get a light-up Frisbee or something. And of course, there will be spooky movies lol.

I've never really been much of a fan of Halloween. It was fun when my kids were young. And one year the older teenager stayed home, dressed up and answered the door (I hate answering the door). When it seemed all kids were gone she begged me to throw something on and we went trick or treating at a couple of houses. I had a scream mask on with a purple curly clown wig and a red skirt worn over my shoulders. We couldn't stop laughing. One neighbour guessed it was me right away from my hands, another from my shoes, the third had no idea it was me. She thought it was my younger daughter as I was hunched over. We just did the three houses but it was so hilarious. Now I turn out the lights and lock the door. I've never really enjoyed dressing up. I don't know what it is. It probably doesn't help that my birthday is the day before.
