Music Making Was My Hobby

My close friend gave me a birthday gift years ago and I was so extremely happy about it. A music making software which made me curious about music and I got pretty good at it. During those time I use music samples to put together to create tracks.
This year I came across open source music creation softwares. I tried and trying to learn but I couldn’t seem to get used to it. Everything I knew back then just wasn’t good enough. Music itself is deep and how waveforms are created is insane. It’s so difficult. I’ve asked myself if I want to go that route to fully learn from scratch and make an amazing music composition.
My abilities is not so good; I’m so inexperienced and I just accepted it’s not my interest anymore. Sometimes you just have to accept your limitations and be content.

Mine is a family of musicians. My siblings play the piano, the guitar, and other instruments. My niece plays the drums, my nephew is a piano prodigy, though he chose another path later in life. I was the odd one out who can't even carry a tune. Hu hu hu. But I was the cheer leader of the family. I carry the pieces for recitals, fix the stage with pots and ribbons, take care of the snacks, and sometimes, even act as the emcee. They say my diction and enunciation make me the perfect host. Ha ha ha.
We all have our own intelligences. Capitalize on what is given you.

@meowch I often share this clip made for my mother who was ailing back in 2011. My daughters and my niece - now an Environmental Planner, an OB-Gyne, and a Civil Engineer.
Hope you like it.
