My long weekend... Office time

I had well planned my long weekend but nothing is turning out to be as per the plan. It's an awful weekend.
First my monthly visitor came yesterday and I am having bad cramps, nausea and headache. Well I took the medicine yesterday and was sleeping for most part of afternoon and evening. And that's why I was missing here.
Even now I am in bed with a hot bag for my hurting back. Mylotting for a while will be a good distraction from the discomfort.
And then a series of awful news... Three families in my building have tested Covid positive and the two floors below us have been sealed. They are good family friends and everyone in the family including an infant is positive. So far only few are showing mild symptoms and others are asymptomatic. They are in home isolation.
My second brother in law is tested Covid positive in Mumbai and has been admitted to hospital. He works with Reserve Bank of India and seems got infected at work place. He has mild symptoms and because he is 56 and diabetic, it was good for him to get admitted. Fortunately no one else in family is infected.
There has been two deaths in our neighborhood. One 43 year old succumbed to virus last night leaving behind his wife and 10 year old son. He was a high blood pressure patient with a cardiac arrest history in past. He was fighting with the virus since last one month.
Morning we heard ambulance around 10 AM. We feared that some of our infected neighbors might need hospitalization. But it was a dead body of 19 year old girl from next building. Seems there was a car accident in the morning. She was on driver seat and died on spot. Her cousin a 23 year old on co driver seat has suffered a lot of injuries in head and is critical. And what we heard from people is that they had parked the car on the roadside and some bus hit the parked car. My husband went down to see when the ambulance arrived. The girl was good friend of my elder daughter and would sometimes come to play with her in basketball court. She was only child and a very cheerful smiling fun filled girl. My heart goes out for the mother. I will give her a visit in few days. My elder daughter is too shocked right now.
Amidst all these bad news, we got one reassuring one. My elder brother in law who was in hospital since last week fighting Covid is stable and tested negative. He might be released by next week.
No matter how awful we feel, Nature always offers something pretty to uplift our mood. Here I share the office time flowers from my garden. They are called office time as they bloom from 9_6 in the day time and that's the timing of most of office. Also called 9 O clock flower because they bloom around 9 AM. Pink and purple aremore common colors and I have them too. But I share a rather not so common yellow color here.
Enjoy mylotting. Stay safe and healthy

Thanks so much for all your kind and consoling words. Here the spread of virus has got really worse. Enough measures were taken and still it could not be controlled the way it should be. People act irresponsible and with such population density controlling a pandemic is a huge task.
Time heals. My children are shocked at present and no words can actually heal it. They just need time to accept it. At least they are sharing their feeling and that takes a lot of load off their heart.
The whole world needs a prayer and a miracle from Heaven to do away with this virus crisis.
Stay safe and cheerful!!

@arunima25 I know it was very harsh with the initial lockdown in India which gave some time to make preparations but it is spreading wildly in India now those restrictions have been removed. The numbers for yesterday were over 1000 deaths and that is only the recorded deaths what about those people in the villages that are not close to medical facilities.I pray all my friends in India remain safe.

@garymarsh6 The numbers are sky rocketing here. And you are right many cases are unreported. Government is trying best on its part. But with a country like ours which has so many issues of a developing country and huge population, it's a Herculean task. Also people have to be responsible. That's missing here. We have many idiots who are risking their lives as well as others.

The likes was not for the situation that you are in.
The likes is for the wonderful flowers that you put up as a picture.
Prayers for your brothers and the souls who went by to the next world.
For now, you please chop a small piece of ginger and enjoy it like a loseenger.
You will start feeling better. Thats natures medicine for you.

I wonder why they parked the car at the side of the road. Where did they drive to and why. I assume most places were closed due to covid.
If you live alone, stay at home as much as possible. If you go out, put a mask on your face, try not to touch anything and keep distance from others.
