October 3 - What I'm Thankful for Yesterday

Yes, I know I'm a day behind on these. My day is not what it used to be.
I'm thankful for my sister's help. It's been wonderful having her here. She goes home today.
I'm thankful I'm starting to lift my leg a little more. Hopefully, soon I'll be able to lift it like I used to do.
I'm thankful for the time I spend here each day. Not as much as I used to, but I'm here and enjoy seeing what you're doing.
I'm also thankful for the nap I got yesterday.
I'm thankful I'm starting to get my fitness goals done again. Yesterday I got all nine of my hourly step goals and 35 minutes of exercise. Things are starting to get back to normal.
That was my day yesterday. What were you thankful for yesterday? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

@marlina That's the big question right now. I would say my son, but he might have been exposed to COVID and won't know until Friday. I'm making phone calls tomorrow to see if I can get transportation arranged somehow. I have two appointments this week and maybe the missed appointment with my doctor.

I know that you’ll miss your sister. I’m thankful that I totally finished going through my daddy’s office and walk in closet. It feels so good. Now I’ll move on to my mama’s craft / library room.

Yes, I will.
I expect you'll feel very close to your mother as you go through that room. I'm glad you finished your father's office and closet.

@just4him i didn't e'en recall why i gave those'p many years 'go. i should know better, eh? 't least i got't figured coz i 'twas startin' to get most frustrated.
congrats! nary a clue's to how many steps i get daily. prolly'd not hurt to find out?? 'm sure i could do better, particularly with the cold comin'. daylight hours shrinkin' tends to send me a lil to the 'fluffy' side, lol.
yes ma'am, hopefully such'll not be much longer, that healin'. fingers crossed yer still able to get the left'un done, but then 'gain the risk 'f catchin' that virus 'd sure make me wish to put such off a tad longer.

I'm sorry you were tempted with that granola bar. I read all labels before I buy or eat anything. I know you do too. It seems you forgot this time. I'm sorry it messed you up so much.
I have over 7K steps today. That's mostly my left leg since my right doesn't cooperate well yet. But it will, and then it will be the right that gets the exercise while the left heals.

My heart just melted reading this. I am so thankful for my beautiful, strong, healthy daughters and the future I am hopefully correct about. But I’m also thankful for you.. and the way you just put all of those painful things aside to ask us all how we were and what we were thankful for. It’s people like you we need more of ??

@alwaysn4everwithyou Yes, He is. Yes, it's a long road to complete healing, but I'm getting there one day at a time.
