Another Big Hurricane due here in Florida

This season has been the worst hurricane season I have ever seen in one area. I don't know how many we have had this summer but it seems to never stop and it is always in the same areas.
So many people have lost everything and so many houses have been torn apart and then another hurricane hits. I just saw a weather report that another one is expected near the same places that another one has already hit earlier this year.
Luckily for us here in the southern part of Florida on the east coast, we haven't had any yet. We had our share of them for a couple of years in a row.
I just hope and pray that they are not hit as badly as the previous ones this year.

Luckily this year we have not been in the path of any hurricanes, not like the past years. We are an hour from Miami and still on the east coast. The western side of Florida and the gulf has been hit over and over this year. I feel so sorry for those people.

@LadyDuck I am almost 2 hours from Orlandp. Florida is a very long state. The only time we go to Orlando is if we are flying somewhere as the big airport is there. That is also where we pick up our kids when they fly in from New Jersey or New York.

@ramapo17 Fortunately we haven't had hurricane so far ,because we live far away from sea.

Thank you, so am I. Last year we had to evacuate and couldn't get back for over a week. It is so bad not knowing if the house was still standing or not. The year before our car port roof can partly down and landed on one of our cars.

I wonder if we hit a record this year for hurricanes? Seems like Delta is coming in strong and I pray for those in it's path.
How crazy is it that we've used up our alphabet and now have gone into using the Greek alphabet.
For us Northerners I wonder if this is a prelude to what our snow storms will be like this winter?

I pray for everyone to be careful. What a year this is, between the virus and all the hurricanes, it doesn't seem real that so many hurricanes can hit in one season.

mother nature 'tis not happy 'n we humans 've not learnt the lessons she's been tryin' to teach fer way too long. hopefully y'all 'll continue to miss 'em this year.
