Kiss of the Vampire

Some days you just know something is going to happen. There is an electric feeling in the air. That was the day Luna was having. It had started out like any other day. The alarm going off, making coffee. Trying not to spill it on herself as she drove to work. Yet when the lighting had struck right as she pulled her car out of the driveway, she knew. It was hurricane season, and the rain was coming down in buckets. At the red light she smiled, thinking about the usual lunacy that happens every year. Drawing a strange comfort out of at least this bizarre normalcy. Even more so this year, with the pandemic. Made a mental note to check her toilet paper stock. At work she was in a distracted mood. It took all her will power not to just stare out the window and be hypnotized by the rain. Storms made most people nervous Luna loved them. Feeling the power of the lighting tingle down her spine. Work came and went. To restless just to go home she stopped at a local bar, vampires supposedly frequented. Boredom is what brings trouble to most of our lives. Sitting there Luna felt someone watching her. Luna looked around, nothing. Time to go, who needs a DWI? Luna had the last human meal of her life. Putting on her white gauze nightgown and fantasying about becoming one of the immortals she drifted off to sleep. The crack of thunder woke her up. It was midnight. What was new? Insomnia was Lunas old friend. Then there he was at her window. How can I be dreaming? She stuck her hand out the window and he grabbed it. She gasped, it sure felt real. His eyes where fire blue, porcelain skin, thick dark hair. Will you let me in? Luna laughed, okay. This had to be some kind of wicked real dream. Then he sunk his fangs into her neck. You wanted the kiss of the vampire didn't you Luna? More than anything. Now Luna is with her kind. Thank you for stopping by.

It's too lengthy to read and it's not being separated by paragraph. Though it's informative and interesting.
