Is it likely that covid pandemic will be over next year?

Has the virus became less voracious in taking lives and ruining health, I have no idea. Will the government treat it as just an ordinary flu or cold. Or will it continue with the lockdown/quarantine measures? Almost a year has passed. Where are we in this situation. Is an effective and safe vaccine in sight. I have learned ways to have enough food inside the house to lessen going out. I am thinking of getting more tools like bread maker if the situation continues. Thankfully, in our place there are only mild cases and asymptomatic cases no critical cases.

@yoalldudes the rain is on and off but it is cool and the ground are wet as for the covid, I think my city has less positive cases now but it is hard to go out of our area if you are going to commute

It is highly unlikely that we can go back to our normal lives again since there seems to be no vaccine is developed on this one and we just have to hide and protect ourselves when we go out hoping that we wont get it. I am recovering from it having to go around 14 day quarantine and yet after that l still need another couple of week to recover my strength back. For as ling as there is threat we can never be over it.

@yoalldudes No this is like flu it can infect you several times over and we might not be lucky if we are hit twice. l think Sec Ano had it twice and the second ones hit him hard.

I doubt it. I think we get to live with this as part of the new normal until a vaccine is discovered.

we are not assured, we're just hoping that one day all be will be well and that this will be curable...the virus itself had changed the life of many especially of those who had suffrered throught. Really, it's life changing pandemic...We just hope and pray harder.

It's not even the end of the year yet, Covid went to the Phils back in feb. I think we will wait for another year for it.
