Have you ever sat in a classroom and just wished the teacher would get out of teacher land and come to student world and explain the lesson simply? I have been there, especially when I was in math classes. Sometimes, it seemed the teacher enjoyed complicating the lesson just because he/she could. I remember the first math class that I ever took in which the teacher actually tried to identify with his students. He cared about each of us and tried to explain in a way we could grasp the concepts. Needless to say, he explained the lesson in several different ways. He explained it simply, and I finally understood. Simple explanations are not just necessary in academics. We must practice this concept as parents, ministers, and mentors. If our audience does not understand what we are trying to say, what is the point?

I never liked math subjects when I was still studying.I am bad with numbers. But during college my course involves a lot of numbers because I took up business course. Teachers, mentors, professors or even coaches has their way in explaining things to their listeners. And the same goes with the listeners there are listeners who understand a simple topic when a teacher draw graphs and illustrations to explain. Some catch up by listening to it over and over again.

You are right. With my students, on their first day, I test their learning styles so I can tailor their lessons to them, personally.

That's correct and that's why we need to have good knowledge of the aspect so our readers or listeners can understand our point of view
