Day 61
Promise 519
John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all who are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth; they who have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they who have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Most people are aware Judgment Day will happen. No one knows when it will come. On that day, everyone—alive and dead—will hear God’s voice. God will judge them. Those who accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord will receive eternal life. Those who didn’t will receive damnation.
Jesus prepared the people for that day through His teachings about the kingdom of heaven. Many believed, and many didn’t.
When Lazarus died, Jesus told Martha he would rise again.
John 11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou had been here, my brother had not died.
22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever thou wilt ask of God, God will give it thee.
23 Jesus said unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
24 Martha said unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
As Christians, you have nothing to fear in the last day.
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
Those who rejected Jesus will know on that last day that He truly is the Messiah.
Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (KJV)
Every person from Adam to the last person born before Judgment Day will acknowledge Jesus as Savior and Lord. For those who rejected Him, it will be too late. They will go to the resurrection of damnation.
When confronted by his friends, Job acknowledged what would take place on the last day.
Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer lives, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:
26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
Alive or dead, Christian or not, all will hear God’s voice on the last day when God will give everyone final judgment. Where do you stand? Have you accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord, or have you rejected Him?
Let’s pray: Father, open the eyes of those who don’t know You. Bring to salvation all those who hear Your voice before it’s too late and the voice they hear is the voice of judgment. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

@Tampa_girl7 Today is actually worse. I expect now it won't be better until the next surgery is done.

I'm glad you prayed it. I give credit to the Holy Spirit for these studies. Yes, we are books read by those around us.
Thank you. I pray I will always walk in God's purpose.
I hope your day is blessed.
