A simple accident happened to my brother the other day. He is a mechanic for cars , and here at home he has his working spot a garage. He recently bought a road bike , not a new one but a second hand road bike that was bought online. He fixed some parts of the bike and he used a grinder for that accidents happen unexpectedly he did not see where the blade went and it hit his hand.Fortunately his finger was not damaged. But it was a deep cut. Luckily we always have our first kit around complete with medicines, alcohol, antibiotics, gauges and ointments. My brother cleaned his wound and applied wound gel or ointment. His wound is healing as of now .Thank s for the first aid kit in our home.

@Hannihar Yes it was horrible and scary too. He showed me his wound , excuse me those who are reading it was a deep cut but his finger was not cut or damaged. Mom helped him in cleaning his wound good thing too mom is a nurse so she knows what to do , I cant go near my brother because I have phobia when seeing blood specially in the face area, I am a coward when it comes to those scenarios .

Good thing she was there and knew what to do. It is just hard for you to be by someone that is bleeding.

@rakski Thank you sis , yes good thing his hand or fingers were not damaged or cut.The wound is deep but as of today when he showed me after cleaning and dressing it , it is slowly healing he washes it with soap and water and then he applies betadine , betadine is good with wounds plus he is taking vit.c it helps too for faster wound healing.

Glad to know that he is fine. Good thing that you have a first aid kit. Had a colleague from work who was cleaning his motor bike and he got into an accident. He cut off the top part of his ring and middle fingers.
