Had DELICIOUS waffles this morning

This morning I needed to eat something DELICIOUS. You know when you wake up craving something so much you start to fixate on it? Well, I settled on decadent waffles. I say decadent because I loaded them up with chocolate chips. I didn't even think there was such a thing. But for some reason, I felt my usual breakfast of creamy natural yoghurt and a health bar wouldn't cut it. BUT it worked! They came out YUMMY

I went one further and served them with a small portion of cream and a drizzle of honey as well.
Sadly, this is not my picture but I'll be sure to take one next time

sure sounds yummy! didn't'cha know chocolate chips go with most all thingies? ;) i keep tellin' myself i need to gimme a waffle iron, but fear such'd not get 'nough use to justify. i, too, oft wake with a hankerin' 'n then jest've my smoothie 'n console myself. one'f these days i'll take me a walk'n the 'wild side'.

@Lushlala i've a jug 'f genuine, unadulterated maple syrup a friend 'f mine 'p north sent some years back. he's passed since'n such's a rare treat i 'ndulge'n from time to time. will ne'er part with that jug when empty 's i think 'f him e'ery time i see 't. but that'd be 'nother story, i'm weird like that.

- oh I am sure they were quite tasty! Sometimes you just do need to take a break from the regular breakfast - best decision ever
